OpenAI introduces GPT-6 Astra as "a new generation of intelligence" and calls it its most intelligent and aligned model to date. The announcement emphasizes computer use, describing GPT-6 Astra as a new frontier in the speed, accuracy and safety of computer use, and pairs that with training for professional environments such as documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
Those statements are OpenAI's. Cue does not run its own benchmark of GPT-6 Astra, and the model's behavior on your task depends on the request and the context you give it.
How to use it in Cue
- Update Cue to the current version and sign in.
- Open the model list in Cue and choose GPT-6 Astra. Reasoning level and speed are separate settings, so check them after you switch.
- Press the Agent shortcut shown in your installed version (Fn by default on macOS, Left Alt on Windows) with the app you are working in open, and say what you need; add the selected text or the visible screen as context when the request depends on it.
- Read the result before you use it. A draft, table or proposed change is yours to check, edit or discard.
