Start with the Windows build
Download Cue for Windows 10+ (x64). This page describes the current Windows release, version 0.5.62.
Sign in and allow microphone access
Open Cue, complete sign-in, and allow microphone access before starting a dictation.
Place the cursor first
Focus the normal text field where you want the result to go before you hold the Dictation hotkey.
Hold, speak, and release
Right Alt is the default Dictation hotkey. Hold it while you speak, then release it to turn the spoken result into text.
Set the right expectation for delivery
Voice typing starts with the focused text field, not a promise about every application surface. Cue attempts to insert the result at that field. If it cannot verify delivery, use the copy result and paste it into the place you need.
Windows and macOS releases currently move at different cadences. The Windows installer on this page is version 0.5.62, so this page does not make a feature-parity or “latest across platforms” claim.
